Former teacher remembers Huntsville High grad killed in 9/11 attacks

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Eight people with ties to Alabama died in the Sept. 11 attacks 25 years ago, including 1996 Huntsville High School graduate Alok Mehta.

Mehta was 23 years old when he was killed while working in the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

A former teacher of Mehta’s spoke about him, saying he was a star student she never forgot.
