HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Xavier Cole, charged with the murder of his grandparents, could undergo a mental evaluation to determine if he is competent to stand trial.
Cole is charged with the murder of his grandparents, Antoinette and Kenneth Skaggs. According to investigators, Cole confessed to killing them with a sword and a knife in February 2025.
