MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Police revealed new details Wednesday about an attempted murder-for-hire plot they say started in a maximum-security state prison.
Those details came out in a preliminary hearing for Keeyvon Ford, who is charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Police say he worked alongside two others, Latransezon Tremaine Malloy and Tihirah Allen, in a plot to kill Malloy’s girlfriend’s ex-husband.

Madison Detective Sean Weaver took the stand Wednesday and said this started when police responded to a shots-fired call on Ivy Chase Drive in Madison just before midnight on Christmas Eve. Weaver said the intended victim was in his driveway unharmed when officers arrived, but that multiple gunshots hit his car.
