Chicago Arrest In Brookwood Killing As Indy Detectives Close In

A months-long homicide investigation that started at an Indianapolis apartment complex and stretched to Chicago has ended with the arrest of a 27-year-old suspect, according to Indianapolis police.

In a post on IMPD News, violent-crime detectives said they located and arrested Devontae Webb‑Holloway on June 9 in the 4500 block of Crittenden Avenue in Chicago. The post identified Webb‑Holloway, 27, as a suspect in the Nov. 24, 2025 death of Amanda Jones and said witness statements were critical to tracking him down across state lines.
