PLAINFIELD, Ind. — U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited the Hoosier State on Tuesday to announce a major change in how Indiana can spend federal education dollars.
McMahon joined Gov. Mike Braun and Indiana Secretary of Education Katie Jenner at Plainfield High School to announce that the U.S. Department of Education approved Indiana’s “Returning Education to the States Waiver,” a move she said will give the state greater flexibility in how it uses federal education money.
