Indiana Commission Approves NIPSCO–Amazon Supply Settlement and AES Indiana Rate Order With Modified Return on Equity

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved 17 final orders at its June 17 weekly conference in Indianapolis, including a settlement authorizing an electric service contract between Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) and Amazon and an order resolving the AES Indiana base-rate case with commission-imposed modifications to the utility’s authorized return on equity. Commissioner Bob Deig dissented on the AES Indiana order.
