FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A recent arrest shows how scams can happen anywhere and Indiana State Police want to warn and offer tips to avoid Facebook Marketplace scams.
Indiana State Police Bloomington District recently arrested someone on a scam related to a mini barn being listed on Facebook Marketplace for $3,500. Police say after the victims paid the full amount, the seller allegedly dropped all communication with the victims and the mini barn was never delivered.
