Man arrested after stabbing incident at Indiana State Fairgrounds

INDIANAPOLIS — Police have arrested a man for his alleged role in a stabbing that left a person injured at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Saturday night.

Per a release, Indiana State Police first became aware of that stabbing around 10:22 p.m. Saturday evening. At that time, troopers working security at the Indiana State Fairgrounds received a report that indicated a “criminal incident” had unfolded at a food vendor booth near Corteva Coliseum.

When troopers made it to the area, they found a 20-year-old who appeared to have been cut by a knife or sharp object of some kind. Police rendered aid to the victim until EMS crews — which were already stationed at the state fairgrounds — arrived at the scene and transported them to an Indianapolis hospital…
