INDIANAPOLIS— Police are responding to a critical shooting on the northeast side Monday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a call for a person shot at approximately 8:57 p.m., Monday night.
Person shot, killed at Budget 8 Inn on Indy’s east side; 1 detained
Officers arrived in the 9800 block of East 38th Street at a Marathon gas station on Indy’s northeast side. There IMPD located a man with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
IMPD is reporting that the victim is in an adult male in serious but stable condition. This is believed to have stemmed from an argument between two individuals where shots were fired as a result.
