INDIANAPOLIS — A second round of strong storms will sweep through central Indiana on Wednesday while Hoosiers reel from the fallout of Tuesday’s flash flooding and powerful winds.
Severe thunderstorms pelted central and northern Indiana with torrential downpours on Tuesday, leading to significant flooding in several Hoosier counties.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout Wednesday. More rain is expected which can contribute to ongoing flash flooding across the state.
The Weather Authority said Wednesday’s storms do carry a risk of turning into severe storms. Damaging winds and heavy rain are once again the primary concerns, but large hail and rotating storms are also possible…
