LAWRENCE, Ind. — A 16-year-old has been charged with armed robbery in Marion County adult court.
According to Indiana’s public court reporting system, Stanley Alexis faces the following charges:
- Armed robbery — a Level 3 Felony
- Dangerous possession of a firearm by a child — a Class A Misdemeanor
- False informing — a Class B Misdemeanor
Marion County jail logs suggest Alexis was booked into the adult detention center on Friday. He appeared in court for an initial hearing on Tuesday.
According to an affidavit for probable cause filed Friday, the charges Alexis faces stem from a series of possible burglaries and robberies that occurred in Lawrence on Aug. 11.
