Gov. Mike Braun has unveiled commemorative Freedom 250 highway signs that will be installed along Interstate 70 and U.S. 30 in Indiana as part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
The Indiana Department of Transportation will install 20 signs over the next week. The signs recognize both the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary and two milestones in American transportation history: the 70th anniversary of the Eisenhower Interstate System and the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Highway, now part of U.S. 30.
