INDIANAPOLIS — Many Ravenswood residents continued to labor this Labor Day, cleaning up their homes and community following last month’s record flooding along the White River.
A dumpster on 72nd Street a block from the river overflows with debris ripped from waterlogged homes like Ray Hibbard’s.
“Basically, every one of our appliances had to be gutted, the floors had to be taken out,” said Hibbard as he showed a FOX59/CBS4 crew around his living room with a floor that now opens to the crawl space below. “I would just like enough to put floors back in my house so I can live in it again if they can give us that.”…
