INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Speedrome is preparing for the 50th Annual World Figure 8 Championship 3-Hour Endurance Race, set for Saturday, Sept. 12.
The race begins at 8 p.m. and features a $50,000 winner’s purse, making it the richest Figure 8 race in the event’s history.
Championship week begins Monday, Sept. 7, with a free kickoff party at the Speedrome, 802 S. Kitley Ave. The event runs from 2 to 7 p.m. and includes a performance by country artist Corey Cox from 3 to 7 p.m…
