FORTVILLE, Ind. – A Dollar General burglary from last month appeared to be an inside job, police say.
Sammy Beeman, 34, is charged with burglary and theft in connection with the Aug. 25 incident at a Fortville Dollar General store. The Level 6 felony theft charge applies in theft cases ranging from $750 to less than $50,000 in value.
Investigators believe Beeman was able to pull off the heist because his girlfriend, Brittany Pullen, was an ex-store employee who still had the keys and codes to bypass the store’s security measures…
