Senior living leaders are calling for open communication and collaboration as officials in Indiana appear ready to implement a “significant” update to the state’s assisted living regulations.
This summer, the Indiana Department of Health published proposed amendments to its residential care facility regulations governing resident rights, residency agreements and involuntary resident evictions. The department said the proposal is intended to comply with the federal Home- and Community-Based Services settings final rule governing Medicaid waiver participants.
