INDIANAPOLIS — A 9-year-old boy was killed and a 6-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run crash on the northwest side of Indianapolis Sunday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 6700 block of Eagle Pointe North Drive — which is located near Interstate 465 and West 46th Street — around 2 p.m. to conduct a crash investigation. Initial information police received on the incident indicated two children were left lying in the street after the crash.
