The Brownsburg Advisory Plan Commission approved plans Sept. 28 for a truck parking lot and maintenance building on North C.R. 1000 East, despite town staff concerns about whether large trucks can safely enter and leave the site.
The project, proposed by Lion’s Trans Inc. at 4005 N. C.R. 1000 E., includes parking for 31 semitrailer trucks, a 2,860-square-foot over-the-road truck maintenance building and a 900-square-foot office building. The commission had continued the request from its Aug. 24 meeting and asked the applicant to meet with staff to resolve missing items.
