Wawa Plans Growth Across Indiana This Summer

INDIANA — Wawa is accelerating its expansion in Indiana, with plans to significantly increase its footprint across the state over the next decade.

The Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain, which first entered Indiana in May 2025, has already grown to 12 operating locations. Existing sites include stores in Richmond, Plainfield, Clarksville and Westfield.

Company officials are now targeting long-term growth that would push the number of Indiana locations beyond 70 within the next 10 years. As part of that strategy, Wawa aims to build between eight and 13 new stores annually for the foreseeable future…
