ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. — One person was killed and two others were injured April 22 when a commercial truck crashed into a pickup that was stopped along the side of the road.
According to an incident report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a motorist had pulled over onto the right shoulder of Interstate 80 due to transmission troubles at just past 9:50 a.m., and the driver and a passenger were standing outside the vehicle. Meanwhile, a FedEx semitrailer was heading east when it reportedly veered and crashed into the parked pickup.
Killed in the wreck was 39-year-old Indiana resident Brandon Summers, and the WHP reports that two others were injured and two were uninjured in the incident…
