Jeff Ellington is running for the Indiana State Senate in District 39.
REASON FOR RUNNING
Ellington said his interest in running for Senate comes from his time as a state representative.
“I want to be your voice, to reduce taxes on property, utility taxes, to remove them, and also to expand the jobs for your community here in Indiana,” Ellington said.
LOCAL SPHERE OF FOCUS
He said several key local issues will be addressed if he is elected.
“My local focus will be to make sure that our state highways, our interstates, have no tolling,” Ellington said. “That’s double taxation. That’s a burden on Southwest Indiana. I wanna make sure that property taxes are reduced. I just received my bill and they went up again.”
