INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man faces felony charges after witnesses say he shot his friend in the parking lot of a south side bar and stole his car after trying to drug him with cocaine.
Tyler Inman, 32, is being held in the Marion County Jail on charges of battery, auto theft, criminal mischief and more. Given his prior criminal convictions, a higher-than-standard bond has since been requested.
The charges against Inman stem from an alleged shooting and carjacking that occurred early Tuesday morning in the parking lot of Barringer’s Tavern on S. Meridian Street. Court records show a man called 911 around 12:15 a.m., saying that he had been shot.
