FREMONT, Ind. (WANE) – A Florida man driving a Thunderbird was arrested after leading troopers on a chase from Michigan to Indiana on Interstate 69.
Around 10 p.m. Monday, Indiana State Police troopers were alerted to the pursuit on I-69 south coming from Michigan, according to a press release. Troopers set up stop sticks near the state line to deflate the Thunderbird’s tires. It worked, but even as the car slowed down, it continued on the interstate and got off at the Toll Road exit at the 356 mile-marker.
The driver eventually got out and ran off, but a trooper quickly caught up to him, according to the release. The man was then taken to the Steuben County Jail…
