FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Indiana Department of Transportation is auctioning off older equipment that has reached the end of its predetermined life span.
The items available for bidding include pickup trucks, tractors, snowplows, laser scanners, woodchippers, stump grinders, excavators, asphalt kettles and portable traffic signs. A camper is also among the items for sale.
“We have your regular pickup trucks, we have tractors… just things that have kind of outlived their life cycle for what we can use them for, that we’re trying just to sell off that somebody else might be able to use,” said Hunter Petroviak, public relations director for INDOT’s Northeast District…
