INDIANAPOLIS — A Johnson County Jail inmate is receiving medical treatment after a reported altercation with another inmate inside their cell on Thursday.
According to Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess, a jail employee overheard an inmate attempting to speak with the master control operator around 12:37 p.m. Following this, the jail employee requested that a welfare check be performed in the housing block and cell.
