The City of Laguna Woods has augmented its coyote management efforts through a contractor that provides non-lethal hazing services using compressed-air launchers (white in color) and water pellets.
The service is conducted between 7 and 10 a.m. and is intended to increase the frequency of hazing activities, as consistent implementation is considered one of the most effective methods for discouraging coyotes from becoming comfortable in residential areas.
