Tiffany & Co. is closing its flagship store at Galleria Dallas on May 31, 2026, ending a nearly 44-year presence at one of North Texas’ most iconic shopping destinations.
The luxury jeweler, which first opened at the Galleria in 1982, will shut its doors at 6 p.m. on Saturday, according to a sign posted at the mall. Customers are being directed to other area locations, including NorthPark Center, Legacy West in Plano, and The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth. The closure comes just weeks after Nordstrom shuttered its Galleria Dallas store on May 16 following 30 years at the mall.
Galleria Dallas, located at the intersection of LBJ Freeway and the Dallas North Tollway, has been a premier retail hub since opening in 1982. The departures of these two high-profile luxury tenants reflect broader shifts in the retail landscape, including changing consumer habits and increased competition from other shopping centers like NorthPark Center.
A spokesperson for Galleria Dallas said the mall remains optimistic about its future. “We’re grateful for their years with us and remain energized by the momentum of what’s ahead—with new retailers continuing to join our lineup and even more announcements coming soon.”…
