(NewsNation) — Bryan Kohberger, who pleaded guilty to killing four students at the University of Idaho in 2022, is trying to withdraw that plea and has been granted an evidentiary hearing for next year.
Idaho Judge Steven Hippler scheduled an evidentiary hearing for June 17, 2027, to review Kohberger’s request for a new trial, according to court filings. A status conference on the hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2027.
