The U.S. News and World Report has released their rankings for the best high schools in the United States, and Texas had two ranked in the top 25 nationally.
The School for the Talented and Gifted in Dallas was listed as the #8 ranked high school in the United States by the U.S. News and World Report while the Carnegie Vanguard High School was ranked #25 in the rankings.
Nearly 18,000 schools across the United State were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
