Heat Advisory Covers Sunday Afternoon
A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 p.m. today across Dallas and much of North and Central Texas, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth office. South winds will run around 5 to 10 mph, but the breeze will offer limited relief from the combination of triple-digit temperatures and humidity.
Tomorrow will be nearly as hot, with a high near 100 and heat index values up to 105. Tuesday could reach 101 degrees, followed by highs near 100 Wednesday and 99 Thursday, keeping the workweek firmly in summer mode.
Little Rain Relief In Sight
Rain chances remain close to zero through Thursday, with sunny or mostly clear skies dominating the forecast. A slight uptick arrives Friday and Saturday, but chances stay low at 10% and 13%, respectively, while temperatures ease only modestly to 98 Friday and 95 Saturday.
