JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Three and a half years of excavation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s (UMMC) Asylum Hill have uncovered a rare find archaeologists hope will lead to identifying those buried at the site.
The discovery of a fully preserved casket brings researchers closer to answering who is there.
