Jackson State sets $500K goal for 2026 Day of Giving

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson State University (JSU) announced its 2026 Day of Giving will be held on May 29, 2026.

Under the theme “All in for THEE,” the 24-hour philanthropic blitz aims to unite alumni, friends, community supporters and corporate partners to raise $500,000 in support of academic scholarships, student resources and campus innovation.

“Every breakthrough discovery, every stage performance, and every corporate leadership role held by a JSU graduate begins with an investment in their potential,” said JSU President Denise Jones Gregory, Ph.D. “Being ‘All in for THEE’ means honoring our storied legacy by actively clearing financial pathways for our talented students. Our $500,000 goal is ambitious, but when Tiger Nation unites, our capacity to challenge minds and change lives is unmatched. We are calling on our incredible alumni network and forward-thinking corporate partners to help us secure the future of Jackson State University.”
