JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – May 26 was a Sunday back in 1985, and it was the first Sunday ever that you could go shopping at Northpark Mall in Ridgeland.
Back then, just about everything in the Jackson area was closed on Sundays, a tradition rooted in so-called “blue laws” dating back years.
