JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A 17-year-old was killed during a crash on Highway 49 in Jackson.
The crash occurred on Highway 49 at Cynthia Road around 9:30 p.m. on May 30, 2026.
According to Jackson police, a gray 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling south on the highway when a white 2023 Honda Accord traveling west on Cynthia Road crossed into the Mitsubishi’s lane of travel. The two vehicles collided.
