CANTON, Miss. (WJTV) – The 41st Annual Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest will return to Canton June 26-28, 2026.
The event, which will be held at the Canton Multipurpose Complex, will bring a full weekend of color, competition and community to Madison County. This year, the celebration will commemorate America250. Admission is free and open to the public.

The festivities kick off on June 26 with the Celebrate America Balloon Glow at Northpark Mall in Ridgeland, where guests can enjoy food vendors, fireworks, live music, a kid’s corner and colorful hot air balloons lining the sunset sky. The main event takes center stage on June 27, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Canton Multipurpose Complex, featuring live music by Lovin’ Ledbetter and The Masters Touch Drumline, a Balloon Glow at 8:00 p.m. and a Spectacular Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:00 p.m.
