‘It looks pretty manageable’: PRV director doesn’t expect Pearl River to hit flood stage

MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – An official with the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District in Madison County doesn’t expect the Pearl River to hit flood stages in Jackson.

After days of torrential downpours, the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRV) on Monday is expected to increase the discharge from the spillway to about 30,000 cubic feet per second (CFS).
