JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Farmers Market will offer expanded access to local produce with two additional Wednesday markets in July 2026.
The Market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to noon on July 1 and July 15, in addition to its regular Saturday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“These additional weekday markets make it easier for Mississippians to shop local and enjoy fresh, healthy food,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “They benefit both our farmers and the families who depend on access to affordable, locally grown products. Stop by the Market on these special Wednesday markets for fresh, Mississippi grown products, and join us again on Saturdays when we have an expanded variety of locally grown and raised items as well as specialty foods and works by local artists.”…
