One of Madison’s most active commercial developers is preparing to launch another project along the city’s busy U.S. 51 corridor.
Bridgforth Rutledge said work is already underway on a new seven-building commercial development behind the former Walgreens property he redeveloped near the corner of U.S. 51 and Madison Parkway. The project comes less than three years after Rutledge transformed the long-vacant Walgreens building into a fully leased retail center that attracted a mix of national and local tenants.
“We’ve already started moving dirt,” Rutledge said. “I’ve already cut in the road. You can drive out there and see it.”…
