BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Rankin County sheriff’s deputy is in critical condition at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) following a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Brandon.
The crash happened around 3:42 p.m. on Highway 80 near Shiloh Parkway as the deputy was heading eastbound to an emergency call.
First responders from the Brandon Police Department, Pafford Ambulance Service, and the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department rushed to the scene.
