‘This is progress’: Jackson seeks $1M in new grass-cutting equipment for Public Works

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson is one step closer to equipping the Department of Public Works to cut grass and fight blight in-house.

The city recently issued a request for proposals for a lease-purchase agreement to obtain a little more than $1 million in new equipment for the department, including zero-turn mowers, dump trailers, track loaders, and trucks.
