MISSISSIPPI – Two Mississippi law enforcement officers who suffered life-altering gunshot wounds in the line of duty are receiving financial support this weekend through Running 4 Heroes, a nonprofit dedicated to honoring and assisting first responders.
Running 4 Heroes announced it is awarding $3,000 grants to Covington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Yates Rodney and Mississippi Highway Patrol Lt. Trea Staples through its Injured First Responder Grant program.
