JACKSON – Dusty has watched plenty of dogs come and go since arriving at Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, but shelter staff say his excitement for life has never faded.
The young dog came to CARA in November after a woman driving in Jackson spotted a group of strays. While the other dogs scattered, Dusty jumped into her car when she opened the door.
Shelter staff said he arrived underweight at about 36 pounds but quickly settled into life at CARA. At his most recent weigh-in, Dusty was around 55 pounds…
