State health officials advise water systems in wake of cyberattacks

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – State health officials say they have already provided guidance to water systems across the state, following a string of cyberattacks on water systems across the country.

On August 1, the New York Times reported that hackers have attacked computers tied to water treatment systems in at least seven states.
