CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – A driver was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle following an off-road crash Wednesday evening on Interstate 20, according to local authorities.
The Clinton Police Department reported that a vehicle carrying two occupants left the roadway on I-20 westbound near Norrell Road. Shortly after the initial incident, the driver exited the vehicle and was hit by another passing car.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported both occupants for medical care. The driver was airlifted by AirCare, while the passenger was transported via AMR ground ambulance. The severity of their injuries was not immediately released…
