JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Mississippi county leaders spent Tuesday learning the facts behind one of the state’s fastest-growing industries, data centers.
The Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus hosted the two-day “Data Center Development Information Convening” at the Westin Hotel in Jackson. The event continues Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Organizers say the convening was designed to answer questions they’ve fielded from county officials across the state, many of whom don’t yet have a data center in their community but want to be prepared…
