JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a 56-year-old woman in Jackson, police said.
Pamela Ellis was struck by a white GMC Yukon around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 5. She may have been walking home with groceries, according to police.
Surveillance footage showed a Yukon in the area around the time of the collision. Later footage captured a Yukon with significant front-end damage and what appeared to be white Styrofoam plates in its grille, similar to plates found at the scene.
After asking the public for help identifying the driver and locating the vehicle, Jackson police received tips that led them to the Yukon and to Patrick Imafidon, authorities said…
