HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be a temporary closure of the Old Byram Road bridge in Hinds County.
According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), both directions of the bridge over Interstate 55 will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on April 27, 2026, through June 8, 2026, for repairs.
Drivers should seek an alternate route during the closure.
