Normal operations resume after Child Protection Services building evacuated

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Normal operations have resumed after the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services building in downtown Jackson was evacuated after what was believed to be a gas leak.

According to CPS, staff detected what was believed to be the smell of a natural gas leak on Friday morning around 9 a.m.
