Jackson woman found not guilty in connection to 2021 homicide

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Jackson woman was found not guilty on Wednesday in connection with a 2021 homicide.

Millian Catrice Tate was arrested at a Kroger in Alabama in May 2021 after 56-year-old Gerald Wallace was found shot in the head in his front yard on West Pearl Street in Jackson, a few blocks from Blackburn Middle School.

Initially, during the investigation, Wallace’s vehicle was missing but it was later found in Alabama and Tate was detained, officials said…
