JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 64-year-old Jacksonville woman accused of deliberately running over a group of ducklings with her car has pleaded not guilty — and now faces officially filed felony charges from the state attorney’s office.

Beverly Sasberry pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of aggravated animal cruelty and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving. She is scheduled to return to court on June 25.
